Across the Back: Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam

Sleeve: 1/2 the across the shoulders + the length of the shoulder to the end of the cuff

Point Length: top point of the collar to the tip of the point

Coats, Sportcoats & Jackets

Chest: Armpit to Armpit x 2

Waist: Middle of the body x 2

Across the Back: Shoulder Seam to Shoulder Seam

Sleeve: Edge of the shoulder to the end of cuff (curved)

Length: From the top of the coat, under collar to bottom

Pants

Waist: Across the top x 2 -- + extra fabric – inside pants at the back seam at top

Rise: From the crotch seam to the top of the waist

Inseam: from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg

Knee: Across the pant leg at the knee(usually 14 to 16 inches down the leg from the crotch)

Cuff: Across the very bottom of the pant
